My dearest "daughter" and friend Grace, Happy 16th Birthday. I wish you all the blessings and joys that life has to offer during this 'sweet' new year for you.
We've never met in person, but from our hyper and excited chats together, our forum PM's, your blog posts (particularly the meme's ;) ) I never cease to be amazed at how similar we are in personality and likes and dislikes. Every time we talk we discover something new in common! We both love the Lord of the Rings and anything Tolkien, we love our faith, we love sweets and both profess to have a sweet 'fang' *giggles*. And the list goes on and on, it's almost as if we are actually related!
*laughs* I will never forget how I adopted you as my forum daughter and my daughter in Christ. It was during your "wedding" *giggles*.... here is what I said:
Me: Grace, I am temporarily adopting you as my daughter....
*ahem* Paul, as the mother (however teomprary) of Grace, I request, nay, demand that you fill out a "Permission to ,er, Marry My Daughter" form and hand it to me immediatly!
you: *bows* Yes, Lady Rose, I accept being adopted!! * runs to her* Mother!!!!Ha ha, he never did fill out that form, and you being my daughter was anything but temporary! And for that I am very thankful.
So once again DD, the best and warmest wishes from your Mamma Rose on your Sweet 16.

I still can't believe you wrote an entire post for ME! *eyes water and she hugs her tighter* I am so blessed and in awe that God have given me the gift of your friendship and love. You inspire me so much, Mamma, and I am constantly praying that I may share your never-wavering, unyielding convictions in our Faith, which we both love so much, and your beautiful faith, hope and love that shines through your words. :)
As impossible as it may seem to love someone you've never met, I do love you very much, my Mamma/sister/dear friend and I can't wait to meet you in real life, because we will scream and scream and never stop!!! :D
I guess I'm trying to say thank you with all my heart. This post and your gift- both the wallpaper (which I LOVE!!)and the prayers, Masses and hours of Adoration - moved me so deeply I was almost in tears. Thank you so much for all of your love and prayers, dearest Amanda. :) (It's so strange to type your name instead of 'Mamma Rose'!)
