The Sixth Day of Christmas

Here are some Christmas riddles. You have until the twelfth day of Christmas to answer!

Riddle 1: What kind of candle burns longer, a red candle or a green candle?

Riddle 2: What do you call people who are afraid of Santa Claus?

Riddle 3: What do you have in December that you don't have in any other month?

Riddle 4: What is the difference between the Christmas alphabet and the regular alphabet?

Riddle 5: What do you get if Santa goes down the chimney when the fire is lit?

Riddle 6: What did Adam say on the day before Christmas?

  2. Well, here goes!

Riddle #1 - I would say that it doesn't matter or that it depends upon which one is longer - is this an inside joke?

Riddle #2 - Scardy Claus, of course!

Riddle #3 - First of all, you have Christmas.
Secondly, you have Advent (though I do suppose that it comes before Christmas, making this the first point.)
Thirdly, you have A Christmas Carol and Scrooge "a squeezing, wrenching, scraping, grasping, clutching, covetus old sinner! Hard and sharp as flint, from which no steel had ever struck out a generous fire."

  3. Here are my guesses...

    1. Neither, as they burn, they get shorter.

    2. Claustrophobia (Sp?)

    3. I have no idea, but I'm sure I will kick myself when I find out.

    4. No 'L'

    5. That would be a 'Crisp Kringle'

    6. "It's Christmas, Eve!"

I really need to think about number three though. It's starting to bother me. :-)
