Veni, clavis Davidica,

"Lord, to whom shall we go? For you alone have the words of Eternal Life."

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son... For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him" (John 3:16-17) "Come to me all you who labor and are heavy burdened, and I shall give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
The words of Our Lord in His Holy Bible speak to us. Quietly, He tells us of His love, His salvation, and gently He invites us to place all our worldly cares and worries aside and find refreshment in Him, in the Holy Eucharist. "I am the Bread of Life; he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who belives in me shall not thirst." What words of consolation! What words of hope! Our Lord speaks to us out of His love and ever generous mercy. He promises that no matter how far we have strayed, how many times we have turned our backs to Him, He still loves and forgives us with joy. It is no wonder then, that the Psalmist cries out, "O give thanks to the Lord for He is good! His mercy endures forever!"
